Orchard Beach: The Bronx Riviera

Wayne Lawrence spent six years documenting Orchard Beach aka The Bronx Riviera and is surrounding community to reveal cultural and personal histories through a series of portraits of the bathers. Curated by artist Awol Erizku, the exhibition posits Orchard Beach as an oasis for families, lovers, friends, and a community to congregate.
